stavo giocando con la mia amata cpu quando mi capita di fare una presa con dottor mario... solo che sento.. yuhhu!!!

avevo cancellato il dash attack per fare presa o.O
ora, per quanto fare WAHHA! sia mindgame visto che esce la presa, ho scoperto un'utilità migliore.
cancellando il momento iniziale del dash attack pg come marth o sheik partono a razzo...
anche fox va parecchio ma perchè slitta...
marth non è nel video ma viaggia parecchio... roy addirittura puoi scegliere se inchiodarlo o prolungarlo...
provate voi =)

Io la faccio sempre con marth o.O se faccio questo grab boosting o il JC dipende dalla distanza.

Magari se provi a cancellare il dash attack con il jc slitta ma non c'è il lag finale

il vantaggio che ottieni dal fare quella roba lì in termini di distanza è minimo ma FORSE potrebbe spiazzare qualcuno. Il fatto è, la differenza è talmente poca che una roba simile potrebbe servire solo tra persone che giocano frame by frame o robe simili lol. Magari passerò la soffiata a Zgetto xD. In ogni caso sì sapeva già, Chor l'aveva perfezionata apposta per farla come taunt aggiuntiva. La prima volta che la fece rimasi notevolmente spiazzato e mi levò uno stock grazie a quella.

ehm IMHO il vero problema è che cmq la presa non è Jcancellata, ovvero il vantaggio sta nella distanza e nello scatto iniziale, ma non nella presa stessa.

so che il problema sta nel non essere jcanceled, ma imo per pg come sheik o fox che si fanno 1/4 di fd è tutto duorchè inutile =)

ad ogni modo inutile non è di sicuro, è più "veloce" della JC perchè va più lontano (di movimento non di range, non so se mi spiego) quindi avrà le sue applicazioni no?

la scelta sta nel:

laggare poco ma avere portata minore
laggare di più con una portata maggiore

ma credo che se si faccia well spaced si possa usare bene, specialmente per fox

edit: io cercavo dash attack grab OVVIAMENTE, mica mi immagino che la chiamano boost grab, adesso la trovo anche io...
il search di sb nemmeno andava e sono andato a spulciare tra gli sticky ma nemmeno un accenno

13. Boost Grab

What it is: Canceling your dash attack into a running grab, giving you far more
distance than a normal running grab (in Fox's case, twice as much).

How to do it: Run and press A, and then press L or R slightly afterwards. You
will begin to do a dash attack, which will then be canceled into a running grab
with double the normal distance.

Uses: Certain technical data regarding the boost grab, or "dash attack-canceled
grab," for a more unwieldy term, in relation to the other grab types can help
shed some light on the boost grab's uses as well as those of the other grabs.
According to testing performed by the_suicide_fox, jump-canceled grabs possess
half as much range in terms of Fox's position as a normal running grab; a boost
grab, on the other hand, possesses almost twice the range. However, during a
grab, there are only 2 frames where the grab can actually connect. Normal
standing grabs and jump-canceled grabs have much more range in front of Fox
with his hand as it is swiping and around 3/4 of a body length registering as
grab areas. On the other hand, running and boosted grabs (both have the same
animation) have more range behind Fox with grabs registering from his hand
backwards to the end of his tail as he finishes. Thus, a running grab in re-
lation to a standing grab has more range in terms of position and with the
actual grab. However, jump-canceled grabs have much less lag. With boosted
grabs, the added distance can put you out of range of an enemy counterattack
should they dodge your grab attempt.

The added distance of the boost grab is obviously what allows it to stand out
amongst the other grabs. Not only does it enable you to avoid a good number of
counterattacks from missed grabs as mentioned above, but it also allows you to
string together combos with grabs where a normal grab would simply cause the
combo or string to fall flat. The boost grab is also handy even from long dis-
tances; due to the lack of Fox players that actually make use of the boost grab
as an integral part of their strategy, you can often grab opponents from a good
distance away where they believe themselves safe from retaliation.
